Old Home Week Presents Country Days

Country Days are set to be a fun interpretation of the Old Home Week festivities Islanders and visitors have loved since it began in 1888. This collection of events and activities around the City of Charlottetown will run from this Friday, August 13th through to the 21st.

To kick off the events, Mayor Philip Brown and Charlottetown City Council invite residents and visitors to the Mayor’s Drive-through BBQ and Ice Cream social. The drive-through BBQ will take place at the roundabout at the bottom of Queen Street in front of the 2021 number sign on Friday, August 13th from 5:00 p.m. till 6:30 p.m. or until quantities last.

Other events throughout the week will include wagon rides, petting zoos, Ceilidhs, and the Gold Cup Parade Neighbourhood Tour.

We may not be able to celebrate the old fashioned way but we can still celebrate!
